Jesus Reigns Forever

Heavenly Communion

It was this Passover time last year 2015 when most things in my life where just gloomy. The only hope l had was in Christ and the things he said, he said he is with us to the end of the age Matthew 28:20.

I was sitting down in the lounge during the day, it was in the afternoon and l was alone. Then l had vision, in the vision l smelled wine, the wine smelled so delicious. Then l looked around and l saw there were people in the lounge. The other person looked like a High Priest, he was wearing a Priestly garment and the garment looked Heavenly, it was not from earth, so beautiful. He was talking to other people who were there in the room and they were looking at me while they talked. Then l swallowed the wine, it was great, then the vision ended. After the vision l could still smell the wine in the room for days.

After the vision that night l never slept l was praising God all night non-stop for the next three days it was on and on. I was in the spirit of worshipping and praising the Lord like never before. I forgot about what l was going through and focused on Him. For the coming months l was refreshed. I have had Communion in Church before but it never made me feel that way, this was different to the highest point. It made you love God and forget self. “If anyone wants to come with me, he must forget self, carry his cross, and follow me Matthew 16:24”.

It is not easy to forget self, carry your cross and to follow Him. Only Him can make you do that. You have to understand what He meant when He said you must carry your cross. Each and everyone we have our own crosses to carry, you can not carry someone's cross, it's either you carry yours or you don't carry any, you must carry your own and endure to the end. Remember suffering is part of the Kingdom. “Revelation 2:9 I am John, your brother, and as a follower of Jesus l am your partner in patiently enduring the suffering that comes to those who belong to his Kingdom.” We need Christ to help us, we can do nothing on our own, He is here to take us all the way.
